The Maharashtra government’s ambitious 100-day programme has gathered significant momentum, with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis chairing a high-level review meeting in Mumbai on Tuesday to assess progress and implementation of key announcements.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister stressed the need to leverage emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) across all departments to make citizen services more accessible, efficient, and transparent. He also directed the expansion of the Information Technology Department, with a strong focus on electronics and AI, to accelerate development-oriented schemes and position Maharashtra at the forefront of innovation-led governance.
CM Fadnavis instructed officials to immediately resolve any technical, administrative, or procedural hurdles affecting the 100-day targets. He emphasised that all departments must prioritise public-interest initiatives, ensure high-quality execution, and complete projects within defined timelines.
