IIT Kanpur Launches Free 40-Day JEE Main 2026 Crash Course Under SATHEE Initiative

 

In a major boost to equitable learning, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, in partnership with the Ministry of Education (MoE), has launched a free 40-day online crash course for JEE Main 2026 aspirants under its flagship SATHEE (Self-Assessment Test and Help for Entrance Exams) initiative.

The program, live from November 1 to December 10, 2025, aims to bridge the urban-rural education divide by providing structured, high-quality preparation at zero cost to lakhs of students nationwide.

What Is the SATHEE Initiative?

Developed jointly by IIT Kanpur and the Ministry of Education in 2023, SATHEE was designed to democratize exam preparation through technology-driven learning aligned with NEP 2020 goals.

The platform, available via the SATHEE web portal and mobile app (Android and iOS), offers AI-based analytics, multilingual access, and free study resources for major entrance exams including JEE, NEET, and CUET.

“Through SATHEE, we are bridging the urban-rural divide, empowering meritorious students from every corner of India to compete on equal footing,” said Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Director, IIT Kanpur.

The IIT Kanpur SATHEE crash course includes:

• Daily live interactive sessions from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. IST
• Subjects covered: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
• Recorded lectures, mock tests, and AI-powered progress tracking
• Free mentorship and motivation sessions led by IIT faculty
• Dedicated doubt-solving hours from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
